Hey Everyone,
How are you this Crafty Saturday? It is a beautiful sunny day in my garden today.
I love picking all the home grown. At the moment, we are eating lettuces, peas, broad beans, runner beans, sugar snap peas and mange tout; courgettes, cabbages, strawberries and tomatoes all from the garden.
The cauliflowers are growing well

The broccoli is progressing well, though not ready for picking yet and the potatoes are taking over the place. Its like a jungle where they are situated!
I grew these carrots from seed, that are being planted out.

I love all the different leaves, greens and textures

So what crafty things have you been up to this week?
When I hold my mindmapping and memory improvement workshops one recurring theme that people always talk about is never remembering where they put their keys. This inspired one of my knitting designs this week:
I’ve made some holders to hang around your neck – perfect for commuters, students and shoppers needing a place to store their train /bus ticket, keys and coins. You’ll never be left, locked out behind the barrier, because you can’t find your ticket. Keep everything together around your neck. When you return home, hang the bag and contents up in the same place every day, so that you are never late, hunting for your keys again. These neck bags are also ideal for the beach and gym to keep loose change, keys, and cards safe. The large bag will fit your mobile/cell phone or camera too.
Click the picture to purchase from the woollywotnots shop or alternatively you can download the free neck holder bag knitting pattern from my website.Have fun!

Have fun eating your lovely garden produce!

Hi Annamaria, what a lovely comment. You’re so generous in your compliments! Thank you. Enjoy your weekend!
how inspiring your vegie garden is. it must be a lot of work. I fantasise about growing vegies in large quantities instead of a few lettuce or tomatoes at a time but i never quite find the time. well done
Hi midgeandjudy, thanks ever so much for your lovely comment. The garden is surprisingly very easy to maintain and manage. I just tend to spend a few hours pottering about every so often and it does all the work itself!
You amaze me, Katharine. How do you find the time for your blog, workshops, crafts, AND a garden? Your veggies look scrumptious, love the green lettuce leaves, too.
This weekend I worked on a large collage which I am just about to blog about …
Hope you had a great weekend.
Hi Stacy, thanks for your lovely comment. Too kind! Love the collage! Have left a comment.
