This Friday, I thought I’d share some lovely pink gifts I’ve received from taking part in the Sleepover Swap hosted by “The Further Adventures of a Thrifty Mrs“.

Alexandra of Domestic Novice sent me a lovely swap parcel.
I love candles and beautiful china. Look at this lovely candle tea cup that Alexandra made me.

I’m going to light it this evening and enjoy a cosy evening in my rocking chair reading the books Alexandra gave me.
All the gifts were such carefully thought out and so appropriate for a sleepover swap.
I received a cute mini lavender pillow, some lovely Cath Kidston hand cream, a sleep blindfold and 3 books on enjoying a good night’s sleep and interpreting your dreams.
Thank you so much for such lovely surprises Alexandra! Its all going to be put to good use this weekend
I’ll enjoy all the gifts.
Alexandra’s favourite colour is green, so my parcel in return was based on green:

A cosy mug of hot chocolate for the sleepover:

Some snuggly socks handmade by Woollywotnots
I discovered from reading through Alexandra’s blog that she likes Liz Earle, so this is a lovely treatment kit, perfect for a sleepover.

A soy wax candle

and of course, a sleepover can’t be a sleepover without edible treats. Alexandra told me that she likes cupcakes, so I gave her this lovely cookery book and silicon cake cases. I love silicon baking trays and cake cases. They are so easy to clean and don’t take up lots of room. You can bend them to fit spaces!

Enjoy your day this Friday.

I think this is such a wonderful idea! My dear friend had breast cancer 8 years ago & despite everything she’s has amazing strength – I’m proud to be her friend. We did the race for life with our daughters this year (10 &11) – it was great.
Here’s my pink item…

LOL! Ahh they will be far to giggly and will be having far too much fun to sleep.
What a wonderful idea. My mum had breast cancer in 2000 and my husbands mother was recently diagnosed with it too so it’s a subject very close to my heart.
And I love pink!
Thanks Eileen, lovely of you to pop by and leave a comment. Love your new shop and blog…
